I have done multiple helicopter rides with Maverick (Vegas strip, Grand Canyon, Red Rock, Los Angeles, and even Hawaii)! It is always the best experience! Depending on your budget, they have something for you to see things from a bird's eye view!
Only 45 min. from the Vegas strip, I have personally provided over 100 tours to the Hoover Dam, as it was my most popular requested one and I feel like it's a must see at least once! It's truly a man-made marvel. If you don't have a car, click below for a tour, as Comedy on Deck does an amazing job! If you do have a car, you must stop by Hemenway Park to see the free-roaming big horned sheep!
While the south rim is better than the west, it is much further and harder to do from Vegas, but I've done Comedy on Deck twice to the west rim.. they pack so much into this full day tour! I'd skip the add-on skywalk (unless you have money to burn), as the line is long, you gotta be quick, and they don't allow you take your own photos.!
If you have time to make it to the south rim, inside the actual Grand Canyon State Park, this is should be on everyone's bucket list.. a visit to one of the 7 wonders of the world! While I've never worked with this tour provider, they have awesome reviews and I've done this itinerary, so I feel confident in recommending the option below!
Only 40 min. from the Vegas strip, I've provided many tours to Red Rock Canyon and it's great for nature lovers and photo ops! While there, I often ran across this tour provider and asked the guests how they liked it.. always rave reviews, so I feel confident recommending. Pricing is for TWO people!
In my opinion, this is the BEST views of Vegas (higher and more unobstructed than STRAT or Eiffel Tower). Night time is much better than day and as for the happy hour, it's only worth it if you can drink A LOT in 25-30 min!
I experienced the new off-road ATV adventure with SpeedVegas and loved it. That's not available thru Viator yet, but you can book at their website: www.speedvegas.com. However, the racing of exotic cars can be booked below and that's next on my list to do.. maybe you will beat me to it.. haha!
Wildly popular, the Valley of Fire is not far from Vegas and a great option for a half-day tour. If you're short on time, but need a nature fix, this will work!
If you want to experience some real nature and engage in hiking/ultimate scenery, then these parks may be for you.. especially if you may not get a chance to be over this way again!
Another option for beautiful nature that many only see in magazines! If you're open to a long full day tour, this may be worth it! I haven't done it yet, but its definitely on my list!
Are you intrigued about Death Valley and into starry nights? This is a very long full day tour with amazing reviews. If you've done all the other stuff on the list and want something new/different, this may be it!
If you have no interest in going to the Seven Magic Mountains like I did in my ATV adventure, this is a good alternative. If you're used to ATVs and like wide open throttle, this is NOT for you.. it's a guided tour and best for ATV newbies!
